Not impressed at all. Staff lady wasn?t friendly as I have every right to see the item even though she said the measurements are on the website and I was like well I want to look at is as it?s not always accurate. Quite rude tbh. Wasn?t even in stock either I mean come on. Why is every item saying pay now and collect at 9am the next day. What happened to buying an item and getting it straight away. Drives me mad all this different stuff now. So I wen?t online to make a complaint about it. You can?t even send an email to complain all I can see is do a live chat but I don?t want to do that. So had no option to make a complaint on here as that was the inly option. Argos is not as good as it used to be. Bring back the old Argos. The new Argos sucks and the staff sre not friendly anymore. Discusted. ?

Ordered four chairs from this store as it was expressed as being available for collection on the same day from 4 o'clock. I then get notified that the item is going to be available from 9 o'clock the following day. Customer service expressed that this is a problem that needs looking at as it happens often. Waste of my time and money as chose this store outside of my home area especially to get the items in time.

My first time here and it is a bit odd. You go upstairs in Sainsburys in a gloomy lift if stairs are a problem. The young man was helpful and efficient but seemed to be on his own and there was a bit of a wait. My click and collect mattress topper packaging had a hole and the fabric was grubby. I have not returned it be a use I desperately needed it post operation. Finally I had an attempted fraud on my card with a spurious click and collect from Argos. Very suspicious there is a dishonest employee at head office passing on card details. Authorities have been notified.

Argos bureaucrats refused to give me the flowers I have paid for. Parcel was still there however I had the cheek to show up one day late. Staff were nice

Had the imprudence to buy a Canon Pixma TS 3451 wireless printer. The kit did not include a cord for connecting to a laptop and had to buy it. Without this cord, for some reason, setup is impossible. For some reason, the printer prints every other time and lives its own life. it is impossible to leave and, as I understand it, the reviews that are on the site are overpriced. In general, the purchase experience is negative.

I purchased an item via their app, within 3 minutes I received confirmation email and second email informing me that the item is ready for collection.Went to the branch to collect parcel. the staff were very quick locating the item,. I was out of the door in less that 5 minutes.Staff were welcoming,polite and professional and knew what they were meant to do.Branch was clean and tidy with hand sanitizer station .It's located on 1 floor and there is an elevator for disabled customer/customers.

Bought a Gtech vacuum cleaner. I noticed it was stopping every few minutes when on carpet. Returned it for a refund. Argos said no as it was more than 30 days and Gtech said no as I paid the money to Argos. Lesson here is : DO NOT BUY ANYTHING AT ARGOS

Was told via email my items were all ready and went to collect, I was told 3/4 were there and could even see the fourth item but they wouldn't give it to me. I stated I had paid for it but they dismissed this and told me to order another and that I was mistaken and must have ordered 3 items. I tried to order another but it was out of stock. I went home and checked my emails to see and I had indeed ordered 4 items. I called to ask them why this has happened as I would now have to make another unnecessary trip for the item, they were uninterested and didn't even apologise. They just don't seem to be bothered about helping you in the slightest, no extra effort made whatsoever. Really bad customer service.

I returned an item on December 14th as it was faulty, to be told I was not able to exchange the item, and I had to purchase a new one and wait for my return to then be put onto my card, which could take 7-10 days. When dealing with the member of staff who sorted my return, she proceeded to serve me without any sort of sanitisation from the last customer to myself. This member of staff, Kerry, touched my card, then reached forward and touched my phone screen without asking or even thinking about cleaning her hands before doing so. This made me feel uncomfortable but I just thought maybe she doesn?t understand that we had been in a pandemic for 10 months. When leaving the store, I caught the manager standing at the front door and asked him if the staff are aware of cleaning procedures. He told me that the Argos team are not required to clean their hands after every customer with hand sanitiser. They only have to do so every 20 minutes, even though they can serve around 5-10 customers within this time. I can only imagine how many germs this spreads. I then had to head back into store as my refund had not shown on my card, and I was told to ring customer services. On December 30th, my refund still hadn?t been processed, and I was told by the Argos helpline to go back into store. Argos Biggleswade were so unhelpful and the manager was rude, and then sent me to Argos Letchworth as he refused to even look into my refund for me, making me travel in a tier 4 zone. Argos Letchworth were more than helpful, but had to ring Argos Biggleswade to actually sort the problem from their store. Which made it pointless me travelling to another store. I would avoid Argos Biggleswade, as their staff members attitude is disgusting, especially the managers.

Website said collect straight away so made purchase, went to collect and said the item is in transit so won't be ready till the morning. I asked if they could look as it said collect straight away, dismissed and told no. Staff need to be more interested in helping customers (or at least show to try) and not just say NO. not impressed in the customer services from this store which is normally great.

Huge, very stylish Argos store with catalogues in abundance which, as a catalogue-lover, is what I like to see. I went here once and stock levels were very good. Friendly staff too.

Had a very bad experience with the staff and the customer service regarding returns. It is insane that you get to see the product only on their catalogue and never get to experience how they work and when you want to return them, they say it is used. If at the first instance if you have the products on display instead of in the catalogues, it will be easier for customers to try and then buy. Either work as a traditional brick mortar shop where you can display and sell or work like ecommerce company where everything is electronic and you provide an option to take it back. Never going to buy anything from Argos. Suggestion - Go to Amazon where you can get everything and they have an amazing returns policy.
