Could do with redecoration

Have stayed in worse but it?s pretty bad.
Dated, basic and looks like it?s had a once over cleanliness wise. Had to hit the light multiple times to make it work, and they?re different colours. Not the kind of bath you have a bath in, hairs in the bath, shower mat mouldy and taps not wiped. Half used toilet roll has some kind of water press indentation? to show the toilet roll has passed housecleaning duties. Kind of bathroom you wear flip flops in. Three cups for a four person room. Windows need a clean on the inside. Net curtain hanging hanging on roughly half of its hooks. Only breakfast box available no hot breakfast.
Our reservation was for 2 rooms but reception, who were very nice and really the best part of the stay, informed us our rooms had been checked out. Luckily we didn?t need 2 rooms just 2 beds. Would have been dred if it were a situation where sharing a room would be uncomfortable. Has a fan that looks clean but stinks of fags when in use, and that?s coming from a smoker. A medium at a push sized tv, but on a positive note no bed bugs (hope I?m not wrong)
I know the area well and pub / shop / restaurant other than Burger King greggs and the petrol station are 20 mins walk 5 mins drive away. Location only ideal if visiting Marston Moretaine / surrounding villages.
Overall, if you?re not fussy it?s not going to harm you laying your head on a pillow here. But if you have standards or are trying to impress someone it ain?t the one.

Right near the services but not too loud to hear motorway very good for visiting UATC staff are all nice otherwise pretty standard Travelodge which is a good thing. Petrol station has everything you need and Burger King small but too tempting.

It looks like the Travelodge is in need of a revamp. Flooring coming away at the edges in the bathroom. I wouldn't want to use the bath, & the whole room felt 'well-worn'. The bed was clean & comfortable (which is the most important thing), however, the room was opposite a 24-hour petrol station, which kept us awake into the early hours.
The staff were friendly, but we won't be using this Travelodge again.

Needs a bit of work- flooring in en-suite coming away from edges and wood work rotten at bottom of door frame. Otherwise clean. Wouldn't stay there again too noisy, bedrooms face the petrol station!

The rooms are standard, reasonably clean and tidy. Sockets are located annoyingly on the other side of the room from the beds so you can't charge and use a phone at the same time without sitting on the floor.
If your room is on the front side of the hotel you'll be hearing the petrol station all night/morning.
When we stayed the reception phone didn't work, so when they emailed us about a problem with the room (and didn't check that their phones actually *work* first) my family and was forced to travel 3 hours back to the hotel on very short notice. Simply not acceptable for a hotel to fail on communication like this.

Incredibly noisy with a 24hr garage just meters away and a Burger King with deliveroo drivers constantly coming and going.
I stay in a lot of Travelodges with work and i would say this is in the bottom 3 if not the worst.
