I visited during Christmas and new year, I purchased a few items and had an item to return. The young lady on the til clearly didn?t want to be there, her body language and tone of voice was giving the wrong message. As I approached the doors to exit the alarm went off, I went back and forth to see if it was me that was setting the alarm off and it was me indeed. I went back to the tills and spoke to the manager to have a look at my bags and he found a security tag on an item. I was annoyed as I had to wait a long time in the queue both times. If I see the young lady again I won?t be going to her til again.

TK Maxx is a shining example of what happens when discount shopping goes wrong. I tried to return an item, but guess what? The barcode suddenly didn?t match. Funny how that barcode was perfectly fine when they were taking my money.
Instead of a refund, they offered me a gift voucher. Because nothing says ?we?re sorry? quite like being told to spend more money at their store! If you enjoy being treated like a joke, go ahead and shop here. Just don?t expect any refunds?those barcodes have a way of disappearing faster than your sanity!

Manager very rude needs to learn basic people skills ..I had a return instead of being polite she shouted and was very condescending really no need to be like that and her colleague laughed its a Sunday be nice and kind costs nothing staff need more training in smiling and being nice to public

In last few years TK Maxx changed its pricing, I think they did not catch up with the rest of the world. Very often pricing on the label shows fake RRP lets say £100 and TK Maxx price £50, when in fact this product is sold at £45-50 everywhere. We used to spend few thousand a year at TK Max, but in last few years it dropped to maybe £150 a year maximum. Prices are well too inflated and it shows as the stores are mostly empty and its not because online retailers.
It's commonly known that it became well too expensive and competition is not sleeping.

I've purchased a suitcase few months ago ,after the first trip It got damaged, I've purchased this solid plastic suitcase believing is a strong material but it proved it wasn't especially that suitcase was coming with 10 years warranty, I've taken the suitcase back manager that day she did not want to go by the picture I've shown her and she wanted the physical suitcase as I did not have time to take it then I've taken the suitcase after few weeks from, the first visit same manager start finding excuse to to refund the money or replace the item saying the suitcase is damaged by airline but to be honest quality of the plastic is very bad ,she did not want to find solution and she was quiet useless also very rude . 18/06/2024 in the afternoon I've enquiry the broken item , just be aware that if you buy a plastic suitcase even if it says warranty there is no warranty at all . And manager will try and get rid of you as soon as she can . Make sure you have prove of want warranty covers ?
