Review: Outstanding Customer Service by Mason ? Tesco, Cardington Road, Bedford
I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service provided by Mason at the Tesco store on Cardington Road, Bedford. Mason went out of his way to assist my son and me in locating an item in the store.
He was not only professional and knowledgeable, but also incredibly kind and patient, making sure we found exactly what we were looking for. In an age where good customer service can be hard to come by, Mason truly stood out.
Thank you, Mason, for your helpful attitude and for taking the time to make our visit a positive experience. You are a credit to the Tesco team!

Not sure what's happening there recently but I've come home from food shopping today with three out of date items! One was the 17th June! Doesn't seem like they are checking anything two items went off yesterday as well. It's not things like fruit or veg, it's meat... I'd take it all back but honestly the staff aren't much help in there anymore either.

I ran around the whole of Bedford trying to find ink cartridges but no where had them. Until I went to Tescos and Mason helped me pick out the correct ones. Massive help, thank you.

In the last three years we have been told our delivery has failed at least 11 times, the van has broken down 7 times.
Might i suggest that you stop buying vans from Rab.C nesbitt.

Tesco Extra in Bedford is a solid, well-organized store with a wide selection of products and a spacious layout. The fresh fruit and vegetables are usually of good quality, and the in-store bakery can be a pleasant surprise ? especially in the mornings with fresh bread and rolls.
I really appreciate that you can find almost everything in one place ? groceries, cleaning supplies, clothes, and even electronics. The large car park and the presence of a Costa Coffee and pharmacy are definitely nice extras.
Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, although I?ve occasionally encountered less enthusiastic service, particularly around the self-checkouts. It can also get quite busy during peak hours, and sometimes shelves aren?t fully restocked ? especially later in the day.
Despite these minor issues, it?s a reliable place to shop and one I return to often. If they improved product availability and checkout speed, I?d gladly give five stars.

I recently visited your store today at 8am. Unfortunately, the store was late opening the kiosk, and when I asked staff about the delay, I was met with rudeness.
Currently waiting for them to open. I?ve asked two members of staff to help on a refund. Shall we tell very rudely by opening!!

Food delivery was booked for 3pm Saturday. Still hadn?t arrived by 4:30pm so I had to call to chase as no communication from the store. Lady in customer service didn?t know why it hasn?t arrived and the store or driver wasn?t picking up. Had to chase another 3 times (so 4 in total) eventually I was told there was an issue with the van but another driver had picked up my delivery and would be with my by 10pm. I had to cancel my plans that evening to ensure I was in for the delivery. 10pm came and went and no delivery. Called again and they said the order won?t come now and the earliest slot they now have is 7pm Monday. Wasn?t happy about this as wasted all evening waiting for the delivery but told them to go ahead and book anyway as I need food. Woke up this morning (Monday morning) to say my order has been cancelled and given me a refund. I have wasted 3 days now when I could have made different arrangements. No communication throughout and I?ve had to constantly chase myself.

Totally disgusted with the way parking is now handled. I visited early hours of the morning to use ATM and sat in car park while I did some online banking. I was there for 26 minutes and have been hit with a fine for exceeding the maximum stay period. When I went into to store after receiving the fine I was told by "customer services " that it was out of their hands and couldn't do anything. I will no longer use this store and will not be renewing my car insurance with Tesco either.

Late night rush led us to come to Tesco Cardington, looking for a very specific fruit (Tamarind) Simona went above and beyond to try and find us the item. Despite us giving up, Simona took it upon herself to go and find the product. Her determination paid off and we walked away happy customers with our Tamarind Paste! Thank you Simona, it?s very refreshing to receive such excellent customer service even at 11pm!
