“Great range of products, nice and clean store with friendly and helpful staff. We bought everything that we needed in one go, hastle free and we had pleasant experience. The fridges were well stocked, so I haf no need to go somewhere else to complete my shopping list.”

“Always polite staff and very helpful, only problem is quick checkouts for a few items and you get people with trolleys using them, also they don't take cash so if you only have a few items that come a couple of pounds you have to queue at main checkouts”

“Did a big shop here to see what it was like, very happy. I didn't have change for a trolley but one of the staff released one for me. Into the store which has just been refurbished and couldn't believe the amount of fabulous deals they have. A full trolley cost me £125 , my freezer and cupboards full and only a couple of items on my list that I didn't get. Very happy and will be going there more often.”

“Best Aldi I’ve been to. The food selection is amazing and the store is clean as well. They have recently installed self checkouts and the man who was working at the self checkouts was very very friendly, kind and helpful and one of the nicest staff member I’ve ever come across. All the other staff are very friendly and helpful. I hadnt been here since 2019 but the fruit and veg area is bigger now.”

“I like shopping at Waitrose, but they do seem to be very good at putting up their prices these days, the food is good but they are pushing their luck, it won't take much more if it to make me switch.”

4.2Good41 Reviews

“Oooooooo. I love Waitrose.
Yes, it's a little more expensive, but hey, it's better quality. You get what you pay for at the end of the day. I have to say, the staff are outstanding. Just like they are in all Waitrose stores really.
Exceptional food, including things I can't find in other shops.
Oh, and a free coffee...... I dont drink coffee myself, but its a nice little perk if you do. Just bring your own cup.
5/5 as is usual.”

“The ladies on the customer desk are always friendly. The clothing range is decent and always has sale items. Service on the selfcan could be better compared to the rest of the store. Feels well stocked compared to the one in kempstone”

“I find customer service lacking generally across many businesses and sectors, for example a Tesco I go into regularly, staff are quick to get their mobiles out and not look up, or smile. First time visiting this store. Today using the cafe Nigel excelled, making us feel valued as customers, gave great customer service, communication and was attentive. This bucks the trend of society really and where great customer service is rare.”

“Great little store with a huge selection of goods at reasonable prices. Self serve coffee station inside, very handy.... hot chocolate was delicious.Friendly and helpful staff.”

“Excellent store in Queen’s Park for any essential Asian supplies. Also sells high quality fish products and the store operates a butcher which provides high quality halal meat and poultry. Very friendly multilingual staff (Bangla, English and Hindustani).”

“A good place to shop ... everything is ordered and neat except for the Aldi in Ampthill road it seems that they have the older offers in cages these seem to always be piled up in heaps... but love coming here for the weekly shop.”

“I’ll say Sainsbury’s is all just the same every where, big or small. Their service is quite alright. Always get what I want there which is less stressful and I can say some products are less expensive. The ones that do sells Afro-Caribbean items should keep up the good work as it’s way cheaper that Afro shops itself”

“Superstore size with tons of parking. Huge range of food inside, but the standout for me is an amazing meat counter serving the best T bone steaks in Bedford. Lots of self checkouts, but these show their age and are painfully slow to scan compared to other local supermarkets. Please update them, Morrisons.”

3.6Good81 Reviews

“Please be careful of prices, some items the shelf are cheaper than they actually turn out to be at the till.A good co-op with friendly staff who frequently help you if you need it. Often a little queue as the Co Op self services card only tills are generally cumbersome to use.As it is a village shop and a co op many of the pieces are a little more expensive than you'd find in other brands.”

“It is not often I leave a review ( never) but calling in the Co op on a dark gloomy evening was a pleasure. Why ?
Enthusiastic upbeat helpful seriously brilliant Sadie (I hope I’ve got the name right) Above and beyond 5 Stars”

“A small shop but with a surprisingly large range of products at good prices. The staff are friendly and helpful too. And there is a Post Office at the back of the shop.”

“Local filling station for years. It has very easy access which you can go past to get to the main Tesco car park of turn right to fill up your tank. Self service is very useful, if you don't choose to go in and pay by person. Costa Express is in the store if you fancy a coffee and other normal snack, drinks and treats you'd expect to find in a petrol station store.”

“Popped in here last night to grab a couple of bits with my 3 year old. Easy shopping experience as always but ended with a surprise. A member of their team came over with a wrapped present and gave it to my child, which really made his day. Things like this don't have to be done, yet can leave a real impression on customers. Thank you for bringing a smile to us!”

“Decent size for the location, especially considering there’s the large superstore within walking distance too. Clean store, everything well stocked and the staff efficient enough at the tills. A good facility in the area and the ideal convenience!”

“Popped in today to collect an Evri parcel. I couldn't find the email with the barcode. The gents responsible for the parcels went over and above in resending the email with the magic barcode. Many thanks for your assistance.”

“They have a well stocked shop and also the Wild Bean coffee shop with food too. Good choice of sandwiches, meals, pasta, and wholefoods to temp you. They also a good range of drinks and wine, cakes & puddings plus flowers, ice creams, gifts. Although the prices are slightly higher, it's good quality food.”

“M&S retail park branch always deserves 5 stars for customer service! Leaving this review to highlight how the staff member (Lisa) on the self serve till looked miserable, cutting her eyes at me when I simply asked for a bag. It was all too much effort for her to assist me & she was rather rude & unfriendly, training required.”

3.2Average23 Reviews

“Shopped today with a trolly and were in the queue for the till, when a very helpful young man called Alister, asked if we would like to go through the check out conveyer till, which we did, so much easier, he was so helpful and cheerful, if only all staff were this good, many thanks Alister”

“Late night rush led us to come to Tesco Cardington, looking for a very specific fruit (Tamarind) Simona went above and beyond to try and find us the item. Despite us giving up, Simona took it upon herself to go and find the product. Her determination paid off and we walked away happy customers with our Tamarind Paste! Thank you Simona, it’s very refreshing to receive such excellent customer service even at 11pm!”

“This Lidl is great for a quick shop, with a decent selection of fresh produce and essentials. The small on-site car park is convenient, though it can get busy at peak times. The main downside is the lack of staff at the self-service area—if there’s an issue with scanning, it takes a while for someone to assist, which leads to queues. There are also usually only two tills open, so checkout can be slow. Overall, a handy store, but better staffing would improve the experience.”

“This is a clean well stocked supermarket. It can be a cheap shop if you look for the shop own brands and special offers. Well worth a trip if in the area and looking to save on your budget. If you are not looking for bargains, it would pay to go elsewhere.”

“Staff are friendly. There is a good selection of everyday bits to choose from and a nice selection of alcohol in particular. They do stock lots of items on offer so can find some bargains. Nice little local shop.”
