St John?s Hospice is a peaceful place for families. The staff are very welcoming and understanding. Our dad passed away 5 years ago, he was cared for so well by all the staff. Today we went back as we?ve popped a leaf on the beautiful memorial tree. The grounds are kept so well and we felt very welcomed by Elizabeth who supported us with hanging the leaf. Knowing we have a place to go to remember is comforting.

What a loving , caring place . Hats off to all the amazing staff who gave up their time to be with their own family for Christmas to care for cancer patients.
I can?t thank them enough for the love, dedication and passion they have for their job .

The hospice cared for my husband for the last few days of his life. They were such a relief to deal with after issues we'd had with the local hospital earlier in his treatment - the hospice really cared about him, and cared for him, amazingly well and ensured that the end of his life was pain free. I was able to be with him when he passed and when I wasn't there I knew he was receiving the best care that he could. I cannot overstate how wonderful they were at caring for him. Words cannot express how grateful I am.

Firstly, I wish there were 6 stars in which to award The St.John?s Hospice, St.John?s Rd, Moggerhanger.The team were simply out of this world with the care, kindness & dignity they showed my Dad, Ray, in November 2023. We, & he, could not have wished for a better place for him to be.The Barker family will be forever grateful to you all!I?d also like to give Thanks to Siobhan, Alexis, Dawn, Tara, Vanessa, Judith, Sarah, Janet, Jan, Ronnie & the catering ladies who all went the extra mile with their superlative care shown to us allaswell as Raymondo! ??Today we lay him to rest at 11am 7/12/23 ?We will never forget you all.Thankyou & keep up the amazing work that you all do ?

Yesterday, I spent a whole day at this Hospice as part of my training to become a qualified nursing associate. I can honestly say, the moment I walked through the door I was made to feel welcome. The hospice itself is located in a beautiful quiet area, with outstanding views. All of the staff at Sue Ryders Hospice are extremely compassionate and caring toward their patients. I really felt an inspiring sympathetic feeling when I observed each and every health care professional communicate and show care towards their patients. Providing individualised care to each patient in every possible way.
