We were helped by a lovely woman called Sue today in buying a sofa. She was really friendly and helpful, and we really appreciate the extra effort she put in for us! :) Thanks again Sue!

We as a family have always donated furniture cloths and shoes etc to this branch of bedford Ampthill Rd.and we have gift aid and in many years gone by you as a charity have done nicely thank you very much from that.
The last two visits going to this branch I've been received by a member of you staff with not a very good approach to taking very good bags of clothing etc.
My frist was told we are not taking anymore today and was told to go to another charity. On my second visit which was today 5th November at 4.30 and there was no bags boxes etc lined up to be told its to late to take one bag of cloths I find this beggers believe to be told by the same member of your staff once again refused to take the one bag. And I told this member of staff this is the second time I've come here and you refused to recive goods. I've been to the sue ryder in bedford Town centre and the staff have always be very helpful and happy smily faces what ever the time of day it is.they even came to my car when I've had lots of bags to give to yourselves. And they even gave me our gift aid labels to put on the stuff because we have Donated many time.

Very very bad experience, paid for the home delivery and they delivered half of the item and when we ask the staff for the rest they told they are not responsible and they were rude as well

Overpriced. You would sell a lot more items and take more money for the charity if you sold your items at a sensible price. You would have a better turn around of stock as well and then you will be able to accept donations.

An amazing shop with some of the most wonderful and caring staff I have ever met. After doing a day volunteering there through my work you get to see all the work the staff do out back to make sure the shop is well stocked and running as smoothly as it can.

Wow. Items well over priced and not even in good condition. Went today and saw a lot of things that were not worth the money.Over the past few months I have seen they are taking no more donations. I'm not surprised as they obvs arent selling their inventory. If you want to help Sue Ryder as a charity its prob cheaper to just donate online directly. You won't get any sort of deal or value for money looking here.

Guys don't buy any electronics appliances from Sue Ryder. A month ago we bought a Bush refrigerator for price £177 from them. They said it has 6 months of warranty but For God sake I couldn?t use it for more than 2 weeks and it stopped cooling. We contacted their warranty company (peace of mind and pacifica group) they have been delaying the appointment and engineer says it won?t work anymore. Now I can?t even return it back because Sue Ryder won?t accept any returns if its more than 28 days. My bad! Badly fallen into a trap . I am stuck with the fridge just wasted my money.

I bought a fridge and freezer from here. I could only use for 20 days. More than a month we can?t use our fridge and freezer. It was a full waste of money.

First time visiting this week. The shop is packed with furniture, brick a brack and clothes organised well in their respective sections. Didn't interact with the staff but they appeared friendly enough. My only only disappointment was the price of everything! £20 for a vase, £129 for a double garden chair. I was so surprised by this that I checked online while in there and found new items for almost the same price. They had a sign outside saying they aren't accepting new donations and after seeing the prices I'm not surprised. Such a shame as I was looking for several items, found some I liked, but walked out with nothing. Doubt I'll return again.
