Poor customer serviceI had appointments cancelled many times and even if you have got appointment you wait there for ages before you are attended to. The one time I turned up 10 minutes late I was told you missed the appointment. Stephen hinds who thinks he owns the place needs to have some customer service lessons ?. Had to change the rating to one star following another experience. I had my daughter's eyetest and paid £20 extra for the antiglare coating and a collection appointment for the following week. When I went o collect the glasses I was told we never paid for it and they blocked the transaction. On checking their records they realised it was their mistake but never bothered to let us know before we we went to collect it. A week later I was contacted again to collect the item. No compensation or apology for the inconvenience caused and the travel due to their negligence. Absolutely poor customer service at Bedford Harpur Centre specsavers

Wouldn't use them again, rude staff and I would forget appointments and they refused to send me reminders, Under Equalities Act 2010 this is illegal. Management didn't get it and made me feel like I was in the wrong. Avoid if your disabled there are much nicer places to go in Bedford. The one I complained about was the Manager. Was glad to come off their books. So many other places treat you better.RESPONSE to YOUR REQUEST, : no thanks I would rather go blind than step back into your shop, you made me feel like a leiper, I cried when I got home. Mr Bunker by Lidlas provide a much sensitive service to my CPTSD. I was very unwell then and barely getting out of bed, your staff were disgusting ? you don't treat people like that, Depression is bloody hard at the best of times. So if anyone has Depression I recommend Alan Bunker, staff there are amazing and so helpful. I got ill again recently and it took me 4 month's to collect my glasses, they were brilliant!! They were happy to send reminder text messages and even called with sensitivity when I kept forgetting.

My wife went for an eye test and new glasses. The staff were very friendly and professional, especially Danisa, who went above and beyond to get my wife the correct lenses for her glasses.

Have to take the time to share a review as the service was above and beyond.I was initially served by Johnny who was fabulous - today, sadly I didnt get the name of who served me. Both were friendly, welcoming and professional.I would highly recommended Specsavers Bedford - a breath of fresh air to receive such a high level of service- thank you x
