I went into store today to return an online order, of which my receipt said I could return to the nearest store. I was told that because I paid via Apple Pay I wasn?t allowed a refund and only an exchange. I explained that wasn?t made clear at all on their website or in-store on their return policy. The assistant manager came over with a very abrupt tone and told me I will not get a refund as I?ve got no proof of what I paid with. I explained I?ve got my receipt and proof on my online bank app, however she didn?t even want to look at this. She started to raise her voice at me. She refused to give me her name as I wanted to make a complaint. I then said I would exchange for a top I saw but they haven?t got my size, she didn?t go and check out the back for me because she clearly couldn?t be bothered and didn?t want to help. She then walked off without helping me resolve my issue. Luckily the lady behind the till managed to help me, we rang customer care who were happy to refund me my money.Unfortunately, I left the store feeling very angry, hot and frustrated with how I was spoken to by the assistant manager and because of her I will now not be shopping there again and I will be making a formal complaint to Peacocks.

Stood waiting at the tills to purchase an item after about 10 mins got bored of waiting (we were the only ones there) left the coat and ordered it online instead ,wanted the coat that day but were not going to go searching for staff for it on the way out saw 2 members of staff chatting I didn't want to inconvenience them by wanting to buy something this is the reason why people are purchasing online now and not insste then the company moans the store isn't doing much trade but its your own fault people don't shop in your store

I went Peacock Bedford yesterday 28 June 2022 to return a trouser which I bought it on last week. The lady on the till refused to refund and exchange it and said that the tag is not on. I told her when I bought it last week it was already without the tag, you can match the barcode with the receipt. She didn't even bother to help and said come after few days as my manager is busy today. The manager lady was on phone, I was standing next to her so long to ask her about it, she didn't even look at me. Very disappointed with the customer service. If the service will stay like this, the store will close down soon
