Absolutely love this Matalan! It?s become a regular stop for us whenever we?re at Interchange Retail Park. My wife always finds something stylish without breaking the bank, and my son loves checking out the kids? section?there?s always something fun or comfy for him. The store is well-organized, prices are fair, and they?ve got a great mix of fashion, basics, and homeware.
Staff are friendly and approachable, and even during busy hours it never feels chaotic. Plenty of parking outside too. It?s just one of those places where you always walk out with more than you planned?but in a good way!

I was in the changing room waiting on my daughter. There was an older disabled lady in the disabled changing room who needed help, she pulled the red emergency cord and no one came for many many minutes. She only wanted help finding another size and wasn't in danger. If it had been an emergency no one would have came. She finally gave up and said she wished she hadn't bothered as she doesn't tend to go out. I really felt for her and wish I could've helped but I had to wait on my young daughter. About 25 -30 minutes later I heard an employee finally say what's that sound? The alarm had been going off this whole time, they didn't even check the changing room, they were more worried how to turn the alarm off which they didn't know how to do.

I visited this evening around 5pm, I was carrying too many items so I couldn't wait for long. I asked the young man where the bootcut jeans were, he didn't really know so he referred me to his female colleague, she'd rudely told him not to interrupt her as she's with a customer. I had waited atleast 5 min for some sort of response she could of told me I'll be with you in a moment but I recieved nothing, it just felt as if she was shopping for this customer rather then giving customer support...
Send her on a customer service course. Asked the young man for her name and it was somthing like viya.

Disappointed with the service I have received on my last two visits. A couple of weeks ago I was stood waiting for 10 minutes for the click and collect person after ringing the bell multiple times. Today there were 2 members of staff behind the till complaining to each other about being at work the whole time I was being served by one of them. It?s put me off going back.

I waited in line for quite a while in regards to stock they had and I knew before the lady served me that she was gonna be rude. Her customer service skills need to be re-evaluated by upper management. No help she just kept telling me to go and get the item to show her to see if they had it in stock even though I told her it was a different top that was similar to the one they had on display. I told her what I was looking for and she just couldn't be bothered to do her job.
