Awful trying to get through

I met a nice lady who helped me use the paying in machine as I had difficulty she was very chatty and it was nice to chat

All I wanted to do was pay a couple of hundred notes to my current account.
To my amazement the sole teller announced "we only accept large payments, (What defines a large amount was not revealed) you must use the deposit machine"
Has it escaped Lloyds notice that.
A: They are a bank and routine payments are part of their business.
B: Some people don't want to use their robot. More importantly some people cannot use it.
I merely had not my reading glasses on me so couldn't see the instructions but what about a person with defective vision. Are they supposed to beg for help ? (Not that any was offered by the man refusing my money)
Seriously, what's the point of a Bank if you cannot make the most basic of transactions .
My bet's Lloyds are deliberately running down the services offered in readiness that "due to lack of use" it will be in the next batch of closures.
Pathetic. Nigh on 55 years I've banked with them and now they don't want my custom. The only thing keeping me there is the others are no better.

I would give 0 if possible, most useless bank in Bedford tons of staff doing nothing can?t even pay in cash at the cashier even though it?s their job one paying in machine joke of a bank

Reading through some of the reviews, it would appear that some people have had negative experience with Lloyds Bedford branch, however, and in contrast, I've had nothing but a positive experience every time I've had to go in and have something sorted out for me.
In particular, I'd like to commend Apreetha and Luca who served me on separate occasions, but both of which, were absolutely brilliant which can only be put down to their great customer service approach.
They took the time listen and help me with exactly what I needed doing with my accounts and assisted me in completing what I'd come into the branch to do.
It would seem that they couldn't do enough to ensure that my experience in the branch was a positive one and went that extra mile to assist me.
Well done Luca and Apreetha, your customer service skills shine and as far as I'm concerned, you're a credit to Lloyds Bank, so please keep up the great work and thanks again.

The customer service in lloyds is shocking. There is only ever one till open and 3 or 4 at the front of the building doing nothing. The machines are always out of action. The branch could do with being refurbished

Long queues and equally long waits. However managed to complete opening a new account, without having to come back another time.
So all is forgiven.

After struggl8ng to find somewhere to park and get there with disabilities.
I was made to wait in two queues for 26 mins with no one serving while listening to another clerk arguing with customers on a phone.
Bloody waste of time.
Couldn't even get served.

Firstly, I've been with Lloyds for over 20 years and have various accounts with them ranging from Business accounts to every day savings accounts.They used to be helpful and polite but recently, a combination of bank closures / staff shortages has turned this once quite prestigious bank into a poorly run one staffed with rude unhelpful staff. The monthly fees I pay to have accounts does not justify how useless their service is. Shame on you!
