This particular Lidl is part of the furniture of Bedford, it could do with a lick of paint and a refresh hence the markdown. The layout of the store is good and accessible. They have a good variation of products and the staff are as friendly as they can be for being rushed off their feet most of the time.

Today I shopped at this store and used the self check out. My total was £17.51 and as soon as I scanned my Lidl card my total changed to £18.51. They are stealing from people when they use their Lidl card, this is unacceptable. Not sure how they do it but I am guessing they change slightly the prices when scanning so that people don?t notice. Despicable. I wonder how many times they have done this and to how many people.

I try not to get influenced by their events as with the slogan 'when it' s gone... It's gone' I have yet to find/get something in their food section, even going in the afternoon of the first day. I feel cheated as a consumer!

They have charged from me 45£ for parking, because I spend 50 minutes for shopping. Idiots. Minus one customer. No more Lidl will go to Tesco.

Good store. Has produce, bakery, all grocery items. Sufficient self check out tills. I asked a couple of questions to staff, they were helpful.

Labels on the products say lower price than in reality. They increase the prices but don't even bother to change them on the products.

I would give zero star. This Lidl a real disaster poorly stocked, general mess in the bakery like in most Lidl shops and in the shelves The staff seem too busy with each other unmotivated unfriendly or have no interest in their job no standard manners ... hello, please and thank you are completely unfamiliar words staff jumping around the self checkout which jingles and blinks continuously simple horrible but 4 tills available and all closed
