Visited Halfords Bedford to buy a new car seat for my daughter, mainly because of their wide in-store range. Unfortunately, the customer service was really disappointing. Staff didn?t seem interested in helping, and although I understand the car seat specialist was busy, we left and returned later ? only to find that she wasn?t very knowledgeable or helpful when we finally spoke to her. I actually knew more from my own research online. Her attitude felt indifferent, and we ended up walking away without buying anything. Ultimately purchased from another retailer who were far more willing to assist.

Came for new plates a bit of a problems with paper work to start with but second visit was fine. Lovely lady at the desk. Very helpful. The plates were put on by a lovely lad called Cody. He was kind and very efficient. He was a very sweet young man and hard working.

Fantastic customer service!
I cannot praise the staff at Halfords in Bedford enough. I bought a battery for my car online and paid for fitting as well. I had to jump start my car to get it to the store for the fitting as the battery was completly worn out. When I got there they apologised ad said that unfortunately because my car battery is located in a difficult position they cannot fit it. I was very disappointed and mentioned that I really needed my car for work the next day, I didnt knkw what to do, I was ready to go home and try to do it myself with the help of YouTube! Then one of the fitters said that she had done them before on this model of car at a previous job and felt comfortable to give it a go. Withing 30mins I was driving away with a fitted battery, and a lot less off a stressful day! I cannot thank this lady enough for going above and beyond to help me.
In addition, the battery I'd ordered was not the right one. I'd used the licence play checker on the website to order it and it had got it wrong. Luckily they had the correct one in store, and the manager very kindly exchanged it for me for a like for like price too, as the correct one was £70 more expensive!
Thank you so much to all of the team that helped me today. Legends the lot of you :)

I went to buy a bearing,needed to replace the existing one from pedal, not knowing exactly the size of it, Peter, showed his experience and kindness to find out for me exactly the size of it. How?
Disassemble same bike from showroom.
Happy customer here.
But the waiting time sometimes can be hard, that's why 4 stars. But stuff deserves 5 ?

The worst place to go for bikes it's up to 2 to 3 week wait for your new bike and if you need a reaper doing it's like up to 3 to 4 weeks wait then if your buying parts most of parts you have to order in and 9 out of ten it's the wrong part even though you tell the staff what you need and they order the wrong one in and some of the store is ran by young adults in there early 20 who have no idea about bike or what there doing especially the Bedford Halfords branch it's like the customer as to mother them and tell them and still can't get things write or do anything I wouldn't even let Halfords go near a car let alone a bike
