GO TO ANY OTHER GREGGS THAN THIS ONE IN THE HAROUR CENTRE.
Specifically the women working at 11:40am on Christmas Eve should not be working in a customer facing role if she can not be polite enough to customers and do her job correctly. AWFUL

Last week I attended this store for the first time and was shocked to see the amount of people in the queue which ran the length of the store and out of the shop. I wasn?t purchasing anything for myself, I had decided to buy something hot for a homeless man on the stairway of the carpark.
After 10 minutes in the queue, I leaned forward to see only 1 member of staff serving. The other staff member was putting items in the oven. Customers by now were beginning to get irate given the poor service. The lady in front of me told me her husband would be wondering what?s taking so long. She went on to tell me that she?s only in the queue as she?d decided to buy the homeless man outside the bank something hot to eat & drink. Snap! I replied, only I?m buying food for the homeless guy in the carpark stairwell.
After what seemed like an age, she was then served by the young lady who had 2 speeds, slow and stop!
The lady purchased 3 sausage rolls, and a cup of tea. When she came to pay for the items I told her there was a deal on, 4 for the price of 3. The staff member didn?t explain this or apologise and the customer didn?t want to make a fuss and just left it. Struggling with the items in her hands, I asked if she could be given a bag. (Again, lack of customer service)
When I finally got served I asked for 4 sausage rolls and a cup of tea. . There was only 1 left. Asked how long for the others and told by the guy they?d be a further 8 minutes.. I had spent 30 mins in the queue by now and had to wait a further 8 minutes for the sausage rolls. Surprisingly the young girl was preparing my tea which I declined until the food was ready.
After 8 long minutes, I could hear the timer for the sausage rolls going off long before they were eventually taken out of the oven. The guy bagged them up but I was amazed to see once packaged they were burnt!!! Despite this he still bagged them up for me.
I was furious by now and asked to see the Manager as enough was enough. I was startled to hear from the young girl that the guy who?d served me was indeed the Manager!!
I told him the service today was abysmal, shocking and if I was in charge of this store the first thing I?d do would be to sack both himself and the young girl!
The store in Luton is superior compared to that of Bedford!
While I waited in the queue, I overheard customers saying it?s always like this in this Greggs!
I for one will not be returning any time soon!

Went for breakfast on Sunday morning. Both Google, the website AND the opening time list shows it will be open at 9am.
Having arrived at just before 9, waited until 9.15 while the two staff flaffed around. As they both kept looking at me they knew I was there but neither opened nor had the courtesy to come and apologise/explain rhe delay.
And you wonder why the UK is struggling.....

Orders for a time. Food didn?t arrive and time was pushed back. Driver has been at the restaurant for half hour. No call or nothing to explain and delivery time is getting further and further away. I ordered at 9:45 still at 11:10 no food has

Just took my family to get a few bits, the young girl who served us was impatient while my son and his uncle were deciding as there was not much left on display. She commented something to her co-worker next to her, once I paid she stormed to the back where I heard her shriek out loud. I had too walk away before I lost it as she really ruined the family moment.While walking to my car I called to complain and spoke to the Manager Josh. Josh knew in an instant who it was, I'm sure it's not the first complaint from customers she has received. If she has no patience with young people or the general public? I recommend an attitude check and not working front counter with customers.

I found the staff to be nice and welcoming.They told me a top secret as to when they'll have hot sausage rolls, so much time for that.Sandwich selection was running a bit thin. Nobody wants tuna, they want that chicken thing with bacon in it.
