Always good food and drinks. Very adaptable too, if you ask for something extra or something removed from an item, they are very accommodating. Retro music at a reasonable level adds to the calmness of the place.

I?ve been using this Coffee shop for now over 2 weeks - switched from Coffee with Art!
Very good coffee and food - one of the better coffee shops in town.
Excellent choice of food.
Good WiFi.
Beware of seating upstairs - you WILL be forgotten! There needs to be a ?Bell for Service? in the seating area ?. just saying!

One of my favourite cafes in Bedford, the food is good and hearty. They?re priced well, have a nice selection and the best part is the staff are so lovely, been there soo many times because they just make it a lovely experience to come back.

Absolutely love Frescoes. Amazing breakfast and a fab service. One of the things I love the most is that the breakfasts are "suggestions" and you can add and remove items.Dietary restrictions: They have vegan options.

The place itself is cosy, almost a bit too cosy, but the unique decor and art gallery are very nice, the small size means that the beverages area is fully exposed, which looks nice and shows the cleanliness of the place.I was primarily here for the coffee, and I was not too happy with it. The double espresso i ordered was bitter and almost tasted burnt, the pros are that it was not too watery despite the comparatively larger portion size and the machine expelling coffee quicker than other machines i have witnessed, the crema was quite abundant although it was very pale. The coffee i got had very little acidity or sweetness although i did pick up faint chocolatey notes. Overall I don't think I would be back here any time soon as the coffee is really quite bad with a strange aftertaste.

A very nice coffee shop restaurant. We had scrambled egg with smoked salmon on a bagel for brunch. With a nice coffee. It was delicious. Good service and friendly staff too. Highly recommended.

Staff are rude, no sense of customer service. Whisper amongst themselves and make faces. Won?t be returning and won?t be recommending. It?s clear they have a different relationship with their regulars!
