I would have given zero stars if I could. Nothing bad about or specific to Bedford branch, but overall, Fitness First has the worst member support system I have seen in six countries. In fact, member support does not exist. They have no phone number, not even employees can give membership services a call. The only way they can allegedly be reached out is via email, to which they provide no response whatsoever. I finished my 12-month membership and wanted to cancel as I'm moving to a place where there's no branch nearby. Since the membership information shown on my app is incorrect (makes me owe £500+) I emailed them two weeks ago, no response. I asked for help from the employees in Bedford, they too had to email, remember they're not aware telephone was invented 150 years ago, to no avail. I'm speechless by the absence of member support and how this chain continues to operate like this. Join if you think you'll be happy with a lifetime membership.

Very nice first visit. Friendly staff and clean areas. No thumping rave music that you get at other gyms which was nice

Have been going to this gym for more than half a year now, and I think it definitely holds up as one of the better gyms in Bedford. Although the price is a little on the steep side, there are plenty of good quality machines available, as well as a plethora of classes on offer. The staff are all friendly and no matter what time of day will always welcome you with a friendly smile. Management don't appear to be afraid to upgrade/update equipment when signs of wear and tear are showing, which is refreshing and very much appreciated. Maybe my only gripe would be the shower facilities, as although they have recently just gotten new glass windows which now thankfully block out the sight of the naked man next to you, the doors still lack locks which I think is a bit archaic.

from the first entered the gym , the staff greeted me with respect and friendliness. nothing was a problem. I would recommend Fitness First to my friends and family

Horrible place.scaming people,Insult and harras.wlaa soon as they get your money cancel your membership without looking to consider customer and human rights. Physically Insult some criminals.

I would have given it 5 stars but cold water shower near the pool was broken for a very long period ( finally got fixed). Gym opening hours have been changed yet again.I don't doubt the hardwork that staff here does, they are fantastic and always helpful. New equipment has been bought in recently which is great. I think it's down to they owners who are just milking in this cash cow. Milton Keynes FF has a much better facility standard but same price. Owners need to keep reinvesting some of their profits to keep users interested.

I joined in early 2023, I had very good experience overall, the staff is friendly, the facilities are very good. complete value for the money. The best part of FF is that it offers all under one roof solution, which is very rare to find in Bedford area. Highly recommended.

A large exercise space with plenty of equipment. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.There is a pool and saunas too.Opening times have changed. Check website
