Great food, which the low key atmosphere may not indicate but this is a favourite of mine....service is with a smile but can be on the slow side whilst a makeover would make the ambience match the fine home cooking.
Still very much a favourite in Bedford for me.

This is an authentic Italian restaurant?a hidden gem on the high street and highly recommended. The delicious food is freshly prepared by an Italian chef; the server knew the menu and gave good advice, even to recommending a Pinot Grigio that was fabulous and a charming ambiance is enhanced by the wine-cellar feel of the restaurant.

Absolutely stunning quality of food. They were happy to serve between mealtimes. Usually when food of high quality comes under such an attractive price, some of that comes out of the size of the portion but not here. There was plenty to eat!

100% recommend eating here. We ordered 4 things in total.
Arancini for starters was great, very yummy sauce.
For mains we had the king prawns spaghetti, Ravioli and the Mushroom creamy pasta.
The mushroom one is up there with some of the best pasta I?ve ever had!
100% go.

Extremely dissaponted with the food, started had to be sent back. So looking forward to the pasta meal, what a complete let down, was plate of pasta shells, covered in sauce that tasted as if it was straight out if a jar, little taste and boring. Decided not to bother with a pudding and left.Vegetarian options: Very little choice and boring.

This is how my ? Carbonara? came, £30 for two of these mediocre ?Italian? dishes. Sauce straight from the jar, BACON was anemic, authentic carbonara doesn?t use bacon. Looks like road kill in a take away box, do yourself a favour and stay away from this

Nice Italian restaurant tucked away under ground, food is delicious and service was spot on too. It was early one Saturday evening so was a little empty, probably be a nicer atmosphere when it's bustling.
