I placed a click and collect order, and as per the Dunelm guideline it should be available to be ready in 2 hours. Waited 24 hours to get the ?ready for collection? email based on the fact the stock was available in store? then at 5:55pm on a Sunday when the shop is shut.. that it?s no longer available because they didn?t pick it and someone has gone in and bought the stock. What a waste of time and how hard is it to go pick 3 lampshades and say ?ready? this store has masses of poor experiences from people in a similar position. Useless.

I visited this store recently and was surprised to be referred to as ?lady? multiple times by a staff member. I?m only 17 and the term felt inappropriate and made me very uncomfortable. I believe staff should use more neutral or age-appropriate language in customer interactions. It?s important to consider how wording affects people, especially younger customers.

I like this shop, I can find unique items, the quality is very good and the price is spot on. The parking area is quite ample and that is a plus. I recommend paying a visit, or o/w browse the online catalogue at the ease of your home.

I?ve recently used the made to measure service where I purchased a Roman blind with black out lining. I am so disappointed with the blind as there are around 13 visible holes in the material where lining is stitched. It looks like such a poor quality blind and just crap. I raised a compliant with customer service and all they say is the T&Cs mentioned there may be tack stitches and therefore they can?t issue a refund and tell me to ?have a nice day?. I had a lengthy conversation with the sales person in store about what I wanted, this is for my baby?s nursery hence needing black out, and it was never mentioned that there may be several large holes in the fabric otherwise I would not have made the purchase of £150. This blind cannot be used, such a waste of money. So so disappointed with Dunelm customer service. You either need to improve the manufacturing or to train your staff better to advise against black out lining.

Really unhappy Dunelm customer. I have chased and chased part of an online order which was a delayed delivery but was due beginning of January and yet I still haven't heard a thing as to when to expect the rest of my order. I've chased via email several times since the date of delayed delivery has passed but no one from customer service comes back to me let alone knowledge my emails!

The Bedford store Manager should be sacked! The place looks awful, everything is all over the place. Moreover, I went to return a click and collect item and their own system states ?in progress? - in the same place I collected it from? So they tell YOU to ring customer service to sort out because they don?t know why it says that and they can?t do anything?? Absolutely shocking customer service, so incredibly lazy!!

I visited the Bedford store on 18th January 2025 and was extremely disappointed. The store was extremely cluttered , shelves were empty and there seemed to be plans dotted around on the empty shelves . Staff presence was non existent , there must have been hundreds of items not priced
Thankfully the coffee shop was the only shining light , maybe that team should run the store !

I visited today with my daughter who?s in a wheelchair. It was very tight to get around due to crates and boxes of stock being on the shop floor. I had some gift cards to spend in store but in all honesty I gave up looking as the shelves were very empty. The standards were shocking. I was very disappointed.
The only positive was the coffee shop. Friendly happy staff, good food and coffee. Thank you.

Ordered some towels online for collection at the store, waited 4 days and no text to say they were ready to collect. Want to the store, the person at the till called some young blond manager and was told the 4 items were not available, soon after this conversation I get a text to say the items were not available., Totally incompetent management. This store is badly run and Dunelm need to get the management sorted, have bad attitude and very poor service. The worst Dunelm I have visited.
