Food was excellent and service good, however think they had far too many bookings tonight as we booked 19:30 and they were asking us to leave at 20:40. Did get the feeling we were being rushed through whole meal, which spoilt the evening. Suggest they think little less on how many covers they can cram into an evening and little more on customer satisfaction. Would I book here again....not sure! If I did I'd clarify how long I had table for and make it clear that offering a complimentary drink to get rid of me is bit pointless if I've no where to sit and enjoy it!

Found Deshi Spice searching online, turned out to be the highest rated in Bedford.
Lived up to its exceptional reviews - delicious food, first class service and great atmosphere. Proven by how busy it was but no loss of attentive and charismatic staff. Highly recommend and will be back.

Came here tonight after we googled "best curry house in Bedford". Truly lives up to its reviews.
Excellent food - not greasy and tasted lovely and fresh.
The highlight was the service though. Really friendly and genuinely seemed like they wanted you to be there.
Looking forward to returning!

Asked for split payment from the beginning and ended up racially profiling group of 6 and treated us like thieves.
They took full payment before even serving us which is unheard of even after showing them a corporate card with British pounds inside.
Very bad service till the last moment where they tried to stop us from leaving after paying because one guy was washing his hands so he was last to pay. (so silly)
At the end they gave us a piece of chocolate and we gave it to the homeless.

Great food!
You can taste the spices clearly and the food choices are varied. The rezala was excellent.
My starter was great, very original- the deshi mixed starter.
Onion bhajis were ok.
We will be back.

10/10 all round. From starters to dessert lovely dishes. Friendly staff very welcoming. Will be coming back again for sure.
