In the past ive been very happy we have been with them 25 years.to cut a long story short 2 of my sensors went down i have allways had them replaced under my contract they would nt budge charged me.when there original owner fitted them they looked after me customer service has gone.plus they came out 3 times still didbt get it correct

Update: They must think its safer to drive in forward now onto the public path. New photo.I've even made a complaint to Everyone Active Aquatic Centre about this as they are very strict with disabled parking even with space in the disabled car park to park safely they won't allow you to do it.But they allow a company to illegally mount the kerb and park on the pavement.Ace Fire and Security know they should not be doing this, but still do it.It's very lazy and disrespectful to disabled people who have to park much further away and shows a lack of health and safety for a company that sells it.

Not happy with the company, specifically overcharging for batteries and poor customer service. Misrepresenation on invoice of batteries used, for example. Over £5 charged for one Energiser ENLITHA battery (12 in all used), this battery appears not to exist. Numerous reputable companies have confirmed this and there is nothingon the www to indicate sucha battery exists. Failure/refusal to alter the invoice to make the description of batteries used a true reflection of what actually was used. Apparently this is their own name in their stock for a battery which does not actually exist in the real marketplace.

Ace Fire and Security are providing total scam instead of service. I bought a property that had Ace system installed and asked them for a service to reset my existing alarm's PIN codes. I did not read the contract well and signed to get things going, it was a £28/month fee, what's the worst thing that can happen? Well this is pretty creative: they locked me into a 3-year contract with a 3-month cancellation applicable only at the end of the 3 year term. Now their service does not include the connection to the central. The alarm does not contact any outside party. I got informed by their engineer than showed up over 5 weeks after I signed the contract and asked for the engineer... so their £28/month service includes nothing except for an annual visit from an engineer. When I asked to cancel the contract they threatened sending the remaining 2 years of fees to the collection agency. Find anyone else to deal with, this company is just awful.

Moved into a home with an ACE alarm system installed so accepted their offer for us to take over the contract. The very first communication was very efficient and professional. But since then the service has been atroscious. Every engineer visit has taken 6-10 weeks to organise, and now after three engineer visits I'm still left with a not fully functional system with the problems only identified at the most recent visit. To cap to off the customer services team have failed to respond to my complaint in the timeline which they have me.I couldn't in good faith recommend anyone to use ace fire and security.

We had our NEW Home Security System installed yesterday (to attempt to 'thwart' a sudden rise in 'local' burglaries), and I was VERY impressed with the quality of the equipment, and the 'excellent' job the Engineers did! My ONLY 'gripe' here is that when we ordered our system we was told by a 'Rep', or similar, that visited us at our house that it would be about three weeks before it was installed!! In the end it was about SIX weeks, and even then, they had to 'swap' jobs about so we had the above installed BEFORE Christmas!! IF the above 'Rep' had been 'honest', and 'truthful', we just MAY have looked elsewhere!! Why promise what you CAN'T deliver just to get a SALE??

Our alarm started malfunctioning and we couldn't work out why. A call to Ace resulted in an engineer visit about 4 hours later, he diagnosed a faulty sensor, replaced it and it's all now working normally. Excellent.

I had a problem with my system where the panel was blank and the alarm was flashing with no way of stopping it. Customer service was good and the engineer came out on the date and approximate time stated and fixed it quickly with no fuss. Recommended.

Ace made buying an alarm really easy. A member of their team turned up at a time to suit me, explained my options and followed everything up in an e-mail. Engineer went through all the controls with me and I even received a M&S voucher as they came recommended by the in-laws, who received a voucher also.
