Staff not helpful, overpriced, not so clean cutlery, average quality food, after 15min been in restaurant waiters started asking if we are finished with food etc.

Went for desert with family the place was clean and tidy and the staff where good nothing like other reviews said,The pancakes servings are massive totally fills you up,Definitely be back

Was Sunday lunchtime-place busy with mainly families. Was sat at table and the paper menu on table was clearly recycled many times and covered in sticky marks and fingerprints. The table also hadn?t been cleaned as had sticky marks. The server (disinterested, not unhelpful but definitely not engaged in trying)came and took our order and I asked if he could clean the table and he came and cleaned one splat-left the rest and recycled the sticky menu again back in the pile of reused menus even though I pointed out it was filthy, to spread some more bugs. No spray-nothing, quick wipe. We both ordered a double stack, bacon and maple syrup and shared dirty fries. Pancakes were nice, 3 strips of bacon and a small cup of maple syrup. All was warm and edible-didn?t blow me away. I asked for 2 cokes and thought they?d be refillable but was the glass bottles-later to find the cost £6! On the subject of the bill- 2xdouble stacks-£10, 2xbacon£5, 2xmaple syrup£5 dirty fries £6.50 2xcoke £6?£32.50 for pancakes and 3 slices of bacon! No idea why the place is so busy as clearly they need to clean properly and the cost is overpriced. Still-if they are raking it in, nothing will change. I won?t be back.

Stack and Still may be ok for eating in the restaurant but I would NOT recommend a takeaway.
It was congealed, cold and stodgy!

Poor customer service! Bought a voucher from it is on. Arrived with my dad and brother. Had to wait 10 minutes before someone came to give us a seat. Waited another 15mins at the table no one seemed to come to serve us. I had to walk up to the staff to ask if someone could come place my order. All the staff seemed busy interacting with each other and not paying attention to any of the customers. The food was decent however then they charged me 6 times for 2 drinks which I thought were in the bottomless offer as that?s what the man had said when I placed the order. He did take the money off the bill however customer service was terrible I definitely won?t be back. I could see the couple next to us was getting annoyed at how slow the staff were. Get some training and crack a smile

Floors very dusty and booths were dirty, even the sanitising station was dirty and messy! Menus dirty and sticky. Toilets absolutely disgusting with dirty sticky floors, tiles, sinks, taps and even the hand drier was covered in filth, bins overflowing, broken toilet seats and more than one toilet had poo smeared on them - one had poo on the toilet roll which was sitting over the bin and not in a holder. No welcome at front door and no eye contact- shown to a table and given dog rules but felt awkward as if we were an inconvenience. Second server was really nice and friendly and efficient but a third person kept popping out of nowhere to ask if everything ok, did we need anything and took our desert order even though our original server gave us the menu and came back within a reasonable time to take our order - we had no clue what was going on! Pretty annoying to be continually interrupted and seems the place is overstaffed and yet its so dirty everywhere. Food mediocre, pancakes ok, toppings ok although bacon burnt /overcooked and halloumi fries were overly salty. Desserts were nice. Crockery and cutlery appeared clean. Will not return- left feeling disgusted at what I felt was a really unclean place and was worried about hygiene of food and of course covid. Place definitely needs better lighting and a thorough deep clean - and maybe less staff serving and more staff keeping the environment clean and hygienic.

Me and my friend came here for a lunch as we heard great reviews, without realising that it is basically all pancakes on the menu, very little of anything else. The pancakes were average and were nothing special. If i was to return again it would be for more of a desert rather than a lunch as there was not much savoury options, and all on pancakes which was not very appealling. I ended up going for the mac and cheese pancakes which was alright, nothing special. Definitely looked the part but not much of a lunch and was hungry after another hour for a proper meal. Struggle to think when people would be visiting here as if not for desert, then its not very ideal for a lunch or dinner. Probably wont be back. Overpriced for pancakes also

Food was really tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful and good re food allergies. It's not the cheapest place to eat out but was a lovely treat. Unlimited refill drinks were a nice touch. Vegan, dairy free and gluten free available.

Met with my friend and two kids (both under two for brunch. Asked for a booth and told there was no room for the double buggy and others were booked out all afternoon. Harassed for our orders (45 min slot to eat and get out) Huddled around a table for two (obviously outdoors seating that had been brought inside as the chairs were metal) with a high chair on one side and buggy on the other. Was served reheated lukewarm mediocre food on three very large plates. They were actually placed half on the table and half off with no room to fit all three on safely. The server dumped them and walked away. Had to ask for another table to be added on so we could actually eat properly. Ironically the booths lay empty all the time we were there. Stack & Still is not child friendly. Rushed experience. Food rotten. Won?t be back as this is the second poor experience here. Once you can forgive.

We loved it here. Have seen it before and have kept saying we have to try it and soo happy we did, fresh pancakes, fast and lovely service, pictures say it all. If you have not been here it's a MUST try, you won't regret it. Will be back soon , soo many amazing options, picking just one or creating creating your own will be the hard choice, can't wait to go back.

From outside you are not sure if the restaurant is busy or not due to the dark windows however it is worth the effort of finding out.. Myself and granddaughter went and she ate and drank free with the kids menu if I ordered at least a double stack pancake.. There is a variety of pancakes and toppings to choose from and great value for money. My granddaughter declared it was delicious. Will be back
