Lucky to have a great park to have in the Penwortham area. It has got a great play area, which can be enjoyed from toddlers to young kids. There are some nice walking & cycling paths. There is a nice cafe near the park worth the visit.Playground: Swings, climbing frames, slides, sand pits, seesaw.

Menu didn't have much choice. Not much senior meals, no small gammon scampi.curry. Or sandwiches. Food taste good, my main concern was the menu.

From Hurst Grange Park
Hurst Grange Park is located between Hill Road and Cop Lane in Penwortham and managed by South Ribble Borough Council. The former estate of Hurst Grange Mansion is now an attractive landscape of woodlands, ponds and wildflower meadows.
The play area has recently reopened following a full refurbishment and the works to restore the park's historic Coach House are now complete with the Coach House Café open daily 10am to 4pm.
Works are also due to take place this year to improve park's ponds and parts of the park's footpath network.
The park has an active Friends Group who meet on the second Saturday of the month at 10am at the Coach House and carry out a range of improvements in the park and organise an annual programme of events.
