Needs a deep clean, better cooks and a much more streamlined ordering system. The seats were frankly filthy, likewise the fittings adjacent to the conveyor belt and the food was pretty much fit only for swill. The service? Well, I guess it could only have been improved by not having any staff. Look, it was Saturday lunchtime and we hadn?t booked anywhere, so our bad. And accepting that in this COVID hiatus, not everything is going to look or act like normal. But other restaurants have stepped up, while at least at this branch of Yo Sushi, it appears that the management has given up. I hate leaving a bad review and I feel for the staff, but this entire experience was frankly cynical and Richard Hodgson and his team at Mayfair Equity better get their act together if they want a decent return when exiting this investment.

We had a terrible time - were accused by the chef of taking food off the belt that wasn't ours (we didn't) which ruined the atmosphere. The chef also sat opposite us the entire time and we felt that we couldn't chat freely without being overheard. Our request for water was ignored twice and the food was poor quality - our tuna nigiri the tuna came up grey rather than pink, the rice in our sushi was still warm and the salmon was tasteless and mushy. It's a real shame as we have loved Yo sushi in the past and are regular customers but after this experience we won't be back. We felt insulted and like we had wasted our money on sub par food. The atmosphere was so bad that we couldn't wait to leave - we would have complained at the time but being anxious people and already feeling uncomfortable we just wanted to get out of the restaurant. Very disappointed.

Yo! Brighton is my teenage kids favourite place to eat, so it was the obvious choice when they were both back home this week. Yo has changed a bit due to Covid rules - there is no longer a regular assorted stream of food on the conveyor belt. Now you order all your food & drink through their App. Then the conveyor belt lights up when your food is about to arrive. The menu is not as varied as it once was, but it was just good to be able to go to Yo!. Food was great, service was good, bill was smaller than i expected. Kids had a great time. Big tick in the box.

Service in this restaurant was brilliant, especially the lovely lady making the sushi! Food came so quickly and was really tasty. Shame the kitchen shuts a bit earlier now 8:30pm, the atmosphere was a bit quiet due to this. Although we had a lovely evening and would recommend it!

Gave this restaurant 1 last chance as previous 2 visits were very poor. Unhappily let down again & wont be going back! The booking i made over the phone didn't exist, a number of dishes weren?t on the menu. Waited 10 minutes & then had to asked to be served drinks. Only 1 chef on so knew the 20 minute wait wasn't true. Not even the condiments were on the table. Brighton has any no. of Sushi restaurants so we will be going to 1 of those next time. We left without ordering & had a very pleasant meal at Sushi Mania!

Weren?t seen to for drinks or food and the food was poor in quality. Made yo sushi look bad, which is a hard job to do.

we went to yo sushi for a treat we ordered our food and for one of the dishes(chicken teriyaki bao bun) not once but twice the order was mistaken, also the food came in uneven procession, so even if the order was not mistaken every one would be finished at different point in the meal the entire experience was sub-standard. and not worth the money payed.

Good food, prices not bad, a lot of vegan options, members of stuff are OK. Unfortunately, the other day I was told at 21:18 the kitchen is closed although the website says the restaurant closes at 22:00 and I was urged to choose from whatever was left in the fridge. They don't have a standard closing time, so if you want to order kind of late (I was looking for a takeaway) there is no way of knowing if the kitchen is still open or closed. It looks like they close the kitchen about an hour early, or even earlier. And the funny thing is that the chefs are there, right in front of you, working.

Always a lovely experience. Friendly staff and the food is great. The decor is original and the music poppy. The food can be a bit pricey but I always really enjoy the ramen bowls and they are most definitely worth it. Would highly recommend a visit!

Food was nice not the best . Everyone was great except one old lady. We politely asked for water refill but didn't press the button because she just in front of our table. Then she started to get upset that we call her straight away. She brought the jug and hit it on the table. On the way out we encountered her agian at the exit we made eyes contact and the way she look at us is so disrespectful. We felt terrible and sorry if we upset you. I've been here for almost a year and never experienced this kind of service.

Visited You Sushi this afternoon and the visit was ruined by a tall slim waiter with an Afro - we were a little confused with the seating arrangements on arrival and rather than showing patience he dropped his guard and snapped at us - his contempt for the job / customer on full view. Otherwise food and ambience was good - dropped one star in the review just like the waiter dropped his guard.

After a while of not going to Yo Sushi, I came back and it was a tasty meal however my spottings were less on the counter than any other time though when ordering stuff it came in a moderate amount of time. Four stars! :)

Clinical decor with a friendly service team. The food was very good and served fast. If you DON'T go large it is great value and wholesome. Be careful to sit away from the air-con our you will be frozen. Not sure I like paying for tap water?

Yo sushi was pretty fun not much of the stuff I wanted was on the cool machine that brings it to you but they make it if you ask. The avocado and salmon rolls were pretty cheap and mega yummy but could easily sit there and spend loads! But it's good fun and it was pretty tasty. There is a thing that you have to pay for tap water which is pretty tight though.

The Sushi Making experience was exciting, engaging and yummy. Megan, our host, was funny and very helpful and tried her best to make our Sushi experience memorable. It is certainly worth a visit for both their tasty Sushi or fantastic classes.

Yo! is a really easy place to eat, pick what you want from the conveyor belt, order hot food and drinks from the menu, press the button for attention.
East as much or as little as you like.
It is also the sort of place when you sure at the belt which you feel as comfortable dining as alone, as you do with a group.
You can also eat as fast or slow, as little as much as your appetite and budget can afford.
If you have never been to a sushi place before this is the least intimidating experience you will have and the staff are very helpful, polite and knowledgeable.
You can even just pick of the food you like the look of without even knowing it's name out how to correctly pronounce it!

I love Yo Sushi! THis is the best one I have been to, the last was SO helpful with my broken leg and one of the nicest people Iâ??ve ever met! Fab vegetarian options at Yo Sushi and itâ??s absolutely delicious. Recommend to all x
