It?s my first time to give one star. My first time to try this restaurant but the waiting time for food was unusual long. Seems they need to prioritise the take away orders first. Overall, the food was not worth of money. The powder for fried chicken was too thick but luckily, the sauce was still ok. It?s not the typical Korean restaurant. They will not serve you any appetizers like Kimchi, beans sprouts. Besides, they only accepted cash payment without official receipt(just wrote the amount on the paper). Not sure that it violated the law in U.K. since I was a tourist. We ordered four dishes and paid £66 for 2 persons. The portion of food was less than normal especially the meat. Not recommended for anyone.

Chicken is halal according to the staff.Beef bibimbap is good. Vegetables are fresh.Kimchi is like home-made. Lovely.Ambiance is like the small stalls in Korea.Pay by cash or bank transfer only.

Perfect stop for Korean food. Food was fresh and tasty. Service was friendly and quick. Definitely a visit if on Gloucester Road or Bristol in general. Food felt like home.

The food varies from dish to dish, but overall pretty good! Bibimbap and Dubbap are nice! Only accepts cash and bank transfer though.

I can?t comment on atmosphere as we took our food home. Originally ordered via ubereats, but the restaurant missed a couple of items off our order and uber were no help. We called the restaurant directly and they handled it really well - apologised for their mistake and offered us to come and pick up the missing bits. They gave us a couple of freebies and we?re really kind and apologetic. The fried chicken is gorgeous and the staff are amazing!

Our first time trying Korean food; it was excellent! Portion sizes were great, good veggie/vegan options on menu. Staff were helpful in aiding in our dish selection. Tteokbokki was spicy but delicious, excited to have it again and return here!

very tasty food though portions were modest at best. the waiters were slightly absent minded and I had to ask for things twice on a few ocasions, decoration leaves much to desire (wall paper peeling off the walls). We were given an extra empty bowl to share some of our dishes, that way we got to experience both South and North Korean cuisine.

It was terrible, and the food was very slow. Twenty minutes later, a seafood cake was served, and ten minutes later, a fried chicken was served. The fried chicken was still cold. I told her it was cold, and she said she would microwave it for me. So ridiculous!!!! Not recommended. The rice in Bibimbap is very soft, like water.

A simple cheap Korean eatery. On the shabby end of shabby. The KFC was tres crispy but the sauce lacked the vinegar pang you might expect from this variety. Also not quite a plentiful as you would hope from a 12 quid dish in a cheap restaurant. Still tasty thoughThe mandu dumplings seemed like frozen gyoza rather than the slightly fluffier mandu wrappers you would expect. Nothing to write home about. The kimchi jeon and kimchi jigae were both delicious though, and in spite of what seems like a slightly scathing review I enjoyed the meal and the relaxed bring your own vibes. The staff were also lovely.

I'm afraid to say on this occasion I was not impressed, while the food was tasty the portion sizes were tiny, for £14 I expected to feel quite satisfied by the portion but it felt like more of a lunch time snack. In addition the wait for food was far far too long. I attended with two friends and the restaurant apologised to us that they were very busy (yet still managed to serve customers who arrived well after us!) They also seemed to be prioritising deliveroo orders at the expense of customers in the actual restaurant...In addition, when we asked for the bill and expected to pay by card they informed us they only accept cash or bank transfer. I've never made a bank transfer to a restaurant before and in this day and age it seems very archaic trying to add a new payee on a mobile banking app. Card terminals are pretty cheap these days and only have a slight fee if you shop around so I would recommend the restaurant purchases one.If the wait times improve, portion sizes increase and a card terminal is purchased it could be a very nice restaurant as the food was good quality.

Tried their korean fried chicken and korean savory pancakes via delivery service. The fried chicken tasted authentic, probably the most authentic I could find in Bristol, the exact same taste as the ones sold by fried chicken ladies on the streets of Seoul. The pancakes was OK. I guess the pancakes were meant to be eaten fresh, it?s not that good when you order it for takeout/delivery.

Amazing food, very reasonable prices, and great service. We absolutely loved everything we ordered, and the fact that it's a BYO means you can afford to indulge on the food because you aren't paying silly prices for a bottle of wine to go with it. Also liked how simple it is inside - would always rather be wowed by the food than the interior decoration! Can't wait to go again!

The food is nice although not as good as other Korean places I've been to. Unfortunately the service was really really slow and really didn't like the takeaway containers.Staff are really friendly and love that is BYOB!

A restaurant that forgoes plates to serve your food in takeaway dishes. Doesn't serve alcohol and only takes payment in cash... There was a thick black hair cooked into my partner's rice. Need I say more?
